Democrat politicians are not patriots, they are not engaging in dissent, and they are not interested in helping us to defeat an enemy that has pledged itself to our utter destruction. And while they may not be technically guilty of treason, they are at the very least traitorous.
Every day we hear some politician, be it "Dingy" Harry Reid, John "The Gigolo" Kerry, or Nancy "Bela" Pelosi running around making negative statements about the war effort, the battle planning, or the duration of combat in Iraq. Teddy Kennedy says the war was "cooked up in Texas", John "Unindicted Coconspirator" Murtha advocates a run and hide plan for peace, and Jimmy "The Lust Bucket" Carter goes onto foreign soil to slander our President and the British Prime Minister.
My question to this group of losers, malcontents, and failures is simple: What do you propose to do about the threats we face? The answer we will get from them is probably on the order of "We have a plan...vote for us and we will reveal it." Or better yet, "The threat has been overstated, Bush just wants to scare you." That is the usual Democrat non-response, isn't it?
But you know what, we should be scared; we should be frightened out of our wits. And not just about the terror threat, but about the fact that the Dems want back in so that they can "deal" with the terror threat we face. These are the same people that ignored fatwas by Bin Laden in both
1996 and in
1998, while they were in control of the national security apparatus. Can we really trust our safety to people that can find ways to ignore declarations of war on us? I certainly don't think so!
So all of you conservatives whining about the imperfections of our current crop of legislators, and hinting that you might not vote when it counts, take a look at Bin Laden's fatwas. Then think about who ignored the threat in order to consolidate political power. Finally, decide if we can afford to allow them to take control of our security again, for any length of time.
And when you've had time to digest the fact that allowing them to regain control would be a massive mistake, one of epic proportions, quit your whining and get ready to vote!
We had better ante up in November, or we could be left holding a dead man's hand.
Now marinate on that!
